Bodily Injury Coverage
Bodily injury coverage is a liability coverage that protects you and all others involved in your collision. While required in almost ALL 50 states, its limits and requirements are subject to your individual policy.
In general, most clients obtain 100/300/100 coverage, which ensures that each person involved in the accident is covered for up to $100,000 of damages or injuries. The second number, 300, provides a limit of $300,000 worth of coverage for the entire accident claim. The final number, 100, ensures $100,000 worth of property coverage against damages made to the other’s automobile. As an agent, I can help you to determine which limits are best for your personal needs, should you decide to pursue additional coverage.
Bodily injury coverage is usually included in any auto policy, therefore it is important to understand how it affects you, both directly and indirectly. Please contact me for any questions regarding this policy.

Collision Coverage
This type of coverage generally reimburses you the necessary amount to repair or replace your damaged vehicle, minus the deductible. Collision coverage is normally required if your vehicle is leased or if you have an outstanding loan on the auto.
Here are a just a few reasons for obtaining Collision Insurance:
- Pays for damages to your auto even if you are not at fault
- This policy ensures that your auto can be fixed right away; if no agreement can be reached regarding who is to blame for the collision and you do NOT have Collision Coverage, you may be delayed in receiving funding for services and repairs to your vehicle. In addition, without this policy, you run the risk of never receiving payment for incurred losses.
- The other party may be at fault; however, they may NOT have insurance.
- An unexpected accident occurs that has caused major damage to your vehicle.
- Covers damages that can be extremely costly to newer cars.
- If unable to replace your current vehicle, this policy helps to get your vehicle back on the road without breaking your budget.
Please contact me for more information about Collision Insurance. Our agents will review your current insurance coverage to determine which insurance services best fit your needs.
Comprehensive Coverage
Aside from your home, your precious auto is probably one of your most valuable assets. Unfortunately, auto accidents are not the sole cause of vehicle damages. Other events, such as natural disasters or household accidents may damage or even destroy your main method of transportation. With comprehensive coverage, your valued auto will be protected through any event.
This type of coverage protects the investments you have made in your vehicle by reimbursing losses resulting from fire, theft, falling objects, storms, and other natural (or unnatural) occurrences.
Similar to Collision Coverage, this policy generally include a deductible, and is usually required if your vehicle is leased or if there is an outstanding loan on the vehicle. Please contact me for further information regarding this policy.
Fault or No-Fault Coverage
If you reside in a “no-fault” state, then your own insurance company will reimburse any losses or injuries caused to you, regardless of who caused the collision. With this type of coverage, most claims can be settled quickly, without the troubles of lawyers and litigation; however, “no-fault” can limit your rights for suing over recovered damages. Each state individually sets the coverage amount and places unique limits on your personal rights to file suit.
If you reside in a “fault” state, the person at fault for the accident will reimburse your losses. With a “fault” system, your right to sue has zero restrictions on your rights to file suit against the individual at fault for the collision. It is also important to know that there are no limitations placed on the other party, therefore, you should not rule out the possibility of the other party taking legal actions against you.

Customers participating in this program may receive a warranty from the glass service provider. In order to maximize our clients’ happiness, Farmers stands behind each warranty offered by all glass service providers, in the event that you are unsatisfied with the quality of work performed.
Liability Coverage
This type of coverage protects the insured parties against financial losses stemming from legal liabilities imposed upon them in connection with bodily injuries, death, or damage caused to the property of others as a result of an accident or collision.
What the being stated, when accidents occur, the involved individuals are compensated for injuries or losses caused. The largest expenses are usually medical; however, fees and costs can become outrageous in the event of a lawsuit. Some individuals may wish to consider Umbrella Liability Insurance, which protects against catastrophic damages or losses.
Please contact me for more information regarding your current policy, or to determine if an Umbrella Liability policy is a good match for you.
Medical Payments Coverage
Did you know that the average funeral costs about $6,500? Or that in 2007 health expenditures were expected to rise nearly 6.9 percent?** These statistics should be the last of your worries; however, planning for them should be considered a necessity.
Medical Payments Coverage ensures that medical bills and funeral costs are covered, should you or a passenger be injured or killed in the event of an auto accident. This policy extends to you or a family member when riding as a passenger in another vehicle, or when struck by a vehicle when on foot. Costs are covered for the amount specified by the policy.
If you have any additional questions regarding preparation for medical and/or funeral expenses resulting from an auto accident, please contact me for more information.

Motor Homes
Take on the road in your motor home and personalize your adventure! Will you go camping in the mountains? Or visit a sporting event? With all of the open-ended possibilities that lie amongst the great outdoors, choosing the right insurance policy should not be an issue.
Here are a few policies unique to Farmers’ Motor Home policy:
- Comprehensive Coverage protects almost all direct, sudden and/or accidental losses, including: collision, fire, smoke, flood, landslide, hail, vandalism, theft, and a number of other accidental occurrences.
- Coverage for Attached Accessories ensures protection for exterior attachments, such as awnings, satellite dishes, television/radio antennas, etc.
Here are a few more popular Motor Home policies (Optional):
- Total Loss Replacement Coverage shields your motor home from the effects of depreciation. If your recent-model motor home is destroyed within its first five years, Farmers will pay to replace it with a brand new or similar model motor home, regardless of cost. If your motor home is six to ten years of age, we will reimburse the original cost of the vehicle, to be used toward the purchase of a new motor home. When compared to typical auto policies (which only pay the Actual Cash Value, or ACV), this option can save you thousands of dollars. In reference to the ACV, this is the current value of your motor home.
- Emergency Expenses Coverage includes payments for lodging and/or travel, if your motor home is damaged or destroyed by a covered loss occurring more than 50 miles from the home.
